Carrie M. Pinkerton, 99, of Marble, PA, formerly of Allentown, NJ, passed away Jan. 9, 2019 at Clarion Hospital. Born on Feb. 7, 1919 in Mercerville, NJ, she was the daughter of Frank and Retta (Gulick) Brink. On Feb. 7, 1942 Carrie was married to Paul Harvey Pinkerton, who preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1964. She then married Kingsley Dawes on June 25, 1988, and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1993. Carrie was a member of the Allentown Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, elder and clerk of Session. She retired from the First National Bank of Princeton.
Carrie is survived by her sons, P. Harvey Pinkerton (Vickie) and Richard B. Pinkerton (Essi). Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11am on Thursday, February 7 th at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 Church St., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Trenton NJ.
