Caroline "Carol" Waite , 77, late of The Villages, Florida, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Care in Hamilton.  Born in San Valentino Torio, Italy, she grew up in the "burg" in Trenton and attended Trenton High School.  She earned her bachelor's degree from Douglas College (then a sister school of Rutgers) and excelled in her career as a senior analyst for the Social Security Administration.

She loved family get-togethers, particularly when the event included games, especially trivia and word games.   Her favorite foods included fried calamari and broccoli rabe…(leftover broccoli rabe was also great for breakfast!)

Over the last 20+ years, Carol indulged her passion to see the world.  She visited such far-flung destinations as Egypt, Iceland, Italy, Samoa, Australia, France, and so many more.  She kept an exciting travelog/picture record of all her travels, with highlights including photos of her riding a camel in Egypt and connecting with long-lost relatives in Italy.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Civale she was predeceased by her brothers Vince, Gino, and Dominic Civale, as well as her sisters Rose Mikos and Louise Schardt.  Carol is survived by her two sons, Thomas Waite of Langhorne, PA and Jeffrey Waite of Chesterfield, NJ and her sister Anna Maria Winkowski, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025 with a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service at:

Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Section of Bordentown Cemetery.
