Carole T. Reed, 68, of Allentown, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Manhattan.  Born in Princeton, Carole was a graduate of Princeton High School.  She grew up and resided in Dutch Neck for many years before moving to Allentown. Carole and her husband loved to travel and made many cross country trips, they also enjoyed flying together in their Light Sport planes.  She was an avid skier and often took trips to Vermont and Utah.  Carole also enjoyed playing tennis and loved to spend time in her garden.  A former Elder at the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church, she was currently a member of the Allentown Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Women's Association of Allentown.  Carole enjoyed to entertain and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Daughter of the late Melvin Tindall, II, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Paige Reed.  Carole is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stuart L. Reed, Jr.; her children, Jeffery Reed and his girlfriend, Nila Zelenak of Allentown, Laura Mount of Allentown and David Reed and his wife Linda of Robbinsville; her mother, Margaret Tindall; three brothers Melvin Tindall, III and his wife Joyce of Indiana, Alfred Tindall and his wife Elizabeth of Allentown and Ronald Tindall of Florida; nine grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 11am on Tuesday, June 12 ^th at the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church, 154 South Mill Road, Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 9 am until the time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to be made in Carole's name to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital, PO Box 27106, New York, NY 10087-7106.
