Carol Miller, 76, of Roosevelt passed away on May 4th surrounded by family. She was born December 23, 1946 in Louisville, KY and raised in Ormond Beach, FL.
A traveler at heart, Carol moved to NYC where she became an O.R. technician before setting off to backpack around Europe. She married the love of her life, Edward, in 1975 and made a life in New Jersey.
Carol was active in Saint David's Episcopal Church and volunteered with Rise Food Pantry. She loved reading in her backyard and made many people wish to be reincarnated as one of her dogs. Above all else, she loved spoiling her grandchildren. Carol was a generous and kind soul that will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her parents Robert & Mary Dittbenner and two grandchildren Willow Hope & Brayden Michael. Surviving are her husband Edward; daughters, Stefanie Maloney and her husband Mike and Dawn Parrish and her husband Taiwan; her grandchildren, Tai, Brenna, and Greyson; her siblings; Robyn, Dale, and Terry and their spouses, and many nieces and a nephew; as well as many close friends including, but not limited to, Patty Dean, and the Cordo and Cybert Families.
Visitation Tuesday, May 9 th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, NJ 07740 and Wednesday May 10 th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street, Allentown, NJ 08501. Funeral service will be held Thursday May 11 th at 11:00 am at St. David's Episcopal Church, 90 Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to Rise Food Pantry - njrise.org or St. David's Episcopal Church.
