Carol A. Hanford , 77, of Leesburg, FL passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Born in Trenton, NJ, she resided in Hamilton until she moved to Leesburg in 2017 upon her retirement. Carol was an Executive Secretary to the Treasurer of New Jersey Manufacturers, and later worked in Human Resources. She also worked at Crest Ultrasonic in Ewing and retired from her last job at Novo Nordisk in West Windsor. Carol loved her cats, vegetable gardening, and had the most beautiful rose garden. She enjoyed bird watching and feeding the birds. She was a talented seamstress, and an avid bowler.

Daughter of the late Frances and William H. Van Zandt, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Hanford. Carol is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Michael Peterson of Wrightstown, NJ; her nephew and his wife, Corey and Allison Peterson of Bordentown, NJ; her cousins, Eileen and Gary Mathews of Ocala, FL; Janice Harris of Aurora, CO; sisters-in-law Patricia Wilkes and June Kealey; nieces Kathy Melson, Jackie Schreppel, Patricia Olson, Sharon Johnson and nephew, Donald Kealey.

A service for Carol will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ. A visitation with family and friends will be held from 10am until the time of service. Interment will be held at Bordentown Cemetery in Bordentown Township, NJ.
