Carol L. Borden, 83, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022.  Born in Bound Brook, NJ, she was a longtime Hamilton area resident.  A graduate of Western Maryland College, she worked as a teacher prior to having her children.  She later worked at Dunham's for many years and later retired from Princeton University where she worked for 15 years.

Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the beach and antique shopping.  She surrounded herself with family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late John and Irene Luckemeier, she was predeceased by her daughter, Marcy Elizabeth Borden.  Carol is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Borden; her three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Brian Donovan, Amy and Scott Lennon, and Sally and Kelly Houston; her beloved grandchildren, Kate and Cameron Donovan, Jamie and Trevor Lennon, and Dylan Houston; and her brother Richard Luckemeier.

A viewing will be held Sunday, March 20 ^th from 2-4 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
