Carol M. Adler , 86, of Florence, NJ and Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully at Hamilton Grove nursing home with her loving family by her side. Born on the Island in West Trenton, her family later moved to Pennington, she was a graduate of Central High School of Hopewell Twp(Class of 1955) who then went on to Susquehanna University before coming back home where she eventually met her future husband on a blind date. She was the 3rd generation to take the helm at GE Marshall Awnings before passing it on to her children. Carol was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, The Contemporary Club and numerous bridge clubs both in NJ and FL. She loved spending winters in Florida and summers in NJ, always surrounded by family and friends. She was an avid reader and loved her Tuesday "Girls Night" , however, Her greatest passion was traveling, whether it be a cruise ship, airplane or an RV.
Predeceased by her parents George and Eleanore(Vickery) Marshall, as well as her husband of 50 years Ernest J Adler and daughter Susan Wriggins. Carol is survived by her daughter Kimberly( Don) Morgan of Florence, her son Christopher( Cheryl) Adler of Florence, her brother, Fred(Patricia) Marshall of Bradenton, FL,brother in law Bill(Lois) Adler of Port Richey,FL, sister in law Joan Adler of Hopewell, NJ and son in law, David Wriggins of Florence, NJ. She is survived by her grandchildren; Kimberly Wriggins of Florence, Kaitlyn(Mike) Rush of Frederick, MD and Ryan Daley of Florida as well as her great grandchildren; Christopher, Lucy and Madilyn and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived also by her "adopted daughter" Darlene Urbanski
Interment for Carol will be held on Monday, November 6 at 11am at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery in Wrightstown. A visitation with the family will be held from 4pm until 6pm on Sunday, November 5th at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. in Bordentown.
