Carla Meazzi, 82, of Howell, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.  Born in Pavia, Italy, she came to the United States as a young bride in 1950.  Carla worked for JP Morgan Chase, retiring after 37 years of service and was a past member of St. Veronica Catholic Church in Howell.  Carla loved people and easily made friends wherever she went.  She was loved and will be missed by all.

Wife of the late William Meazzi, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Stephen Klap of Orlando, Fl, Joyce and Anthony Lapreta of Cream Ridge and Vivian and Vincent Gaudino of Belmont, NY; six grandchildren, Danielle Rivera, Damian Gaudino, Stephen Klap, Jr. and Matthew, Brianna and Michael Lapreta; two sisters, Ada Re and Angelica Ravetta both of Pavia, Italy as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on Monday, June 25 ^th at St. John's Church, Allentown.  Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.  Friends may call Saturday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carla's name to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
