Carl W. Paglione, 78, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Florence and had resided in Bordentown most of his life, before moving to Columbus 15 years ago.
Carl retired from Acme Markets after 44 years and was a member of the Local# 1360 UFCW of West Berlin, NJ. He was an exempt fireman with Hope Hose Humane Fire Company # 1 of Bordentown and was a member of the New Jersey Air National Guard. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and always enjoyed the people in the community where he lived. Carl's family was very important to him. He was wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Eloise Paglione, he is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Irene Paglione (Cook), his daughter and son-in-law: Robin L. and Kenneth C. Blauth of Bordentown Township, his son and daughter-in-law: Carl W. Jr. and Karen Paglione of Burlington Township and Michael T. Paglione and his fiancé Kelly Kerns of Tabernacle. Seven grandchildren: Kenneth Blauth Jr and his wife Lori. Heather Chapman and her husband Doug, Taylor, Karissa and Anthony Paglione, Lauren and Mikayla Barbalace and two step great grandchildren: Brenda and Doug Chapman.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 2 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Township. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm and again on Saturday morning from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
