Carl J. Mohr, 77, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 at Robert Wood University Hospital at Hamilton. Born and raised in Trenton, he had lived in New Egypt for the past 49 years. He owned and operated Fine Sheet Metal Works in Trenton for 28 years. Carl was a member of the New Egypt Elks # BPOE and was a past member of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt. He was involved in the community through coaching Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball and was an assistant Boy Scout leader for Troop #9. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting the casinos.
Brother of the late Earl and Ann Mohr and Bertille Kovacs, he is survived by his beloved wife of over 55 years, Margaret Post Mohr, his son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Cheryl Mohr of New Egypt, his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Mark Turgyan of Bordentown, his sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Joseph Spalding of Hamilton Twp.and four grandchildren; Melissa Mohr and Steve Jaczko, Kyle Mohr and his wife Meredith, Stephen Turgyan and Drew Turgyan and Lauren Hammell.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Carl's name to the American Cancer Society, PO BOX 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, NJ.
