Carl James Baker, 72, of Snellville, GA, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his home. Formally of New Jersey, Carl moved to Georgia four years ago. He was a tractor trailer driver for many years, driving across the country and also worked for Midland Glass Company in Matawan, NJ.

The youngest of nine siblings, all deceased, Carl is survived by his loving wife Isabelle Baker; three sons, Carl ""Buck"" Jr. and his wife Suzanne, Earl and David; four daughters Cindy, Cara, Tami Baker and Marie Covin; four stepchildren, Christopher Covin and his wife Nelia, Larry Covin and his wife Gloria, Gail Adams and Wendy Ann Lindsey and her husband Zachery; an adopted son Shawn Kanner; nephew Frank Brake; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and a dear friend Calvin Scott of GA.

Funeral Service will be held 11am on Thursday, March 4th at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 So, Main St. Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 10am until the time of service.
