Bruce C. Bauer, 68, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, in Charleston, SC. Bruce was born in Allentown, NJ and most recently lived in Jacobstown, NJ with his wife Denise of 43 years. Bruce is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Melanie Bauer of Plain View, NC, and his daughter, Susan Bauer of Charleston, SC.
Bruce is predeceased by his Mother, Marion H. Bauer and his Father, Charles H. Bauer of Allentown, NJ. Bruce is survived by a mother-in-law Marion McCullers, brother-in-law William McCullers and his wife Joan of Moneta, VA, and two nephews Brendan Mc Cullers and his wife Shelley and Sean McCullers. In addition, Bruce has two cousins, William Bauer and his wife Jacqueline of The Villages, FL and Bonnie Schneider and her husband, John of Evergreen, CO and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.

Bruce was an electrician for most of his working life, a profession he greatly enjoyed, most recently with Bauer Electric. Bruce was also an avid outdoorsman. From an early age his grandfather taught him how to trap, hunt, and fish. His love for hard work and fishing carried him all the way to the final years of his life. Bruce also loved to travel with his wife Denise and share their stories of all the places they had visited in North America.

Bruce was a member of North Hanover Shade Tree Commission and a Cub Scout Leader.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12 at 1 o'clock in the Chapel of the Masonic Home of New Jersey, 902 Jacksonville Rd, in Burlington, Township.
Calling hours will be 11:00 until the time of the service at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
