Briana Rose Gaum, age 18, of Cream Ridge, passed away Monday June 2nd. A senior at Allentown High School, Briana was a star field hockey player; competing on the varsity team with her sister, Shannon for three years. While on the squad, she helped take the team to many State Championships. She loved animals, especially her horses, Lily, Nellie and Winston and her dogs, Petey, Louie and Molly. Briana had a kind heart and was loved by everyone who knew her. She is now together forever with her soul mate Tom Carnevali.
Granddaughter of the late Ernest F. Gaum and niece of the late David Marsh, she is survived by her parents, Ryan and Sandy Gaum of Cream Ridge; her sister, Shannon Gaum of Cream Ridge; paternal grandmother, Marian Gaum of Waretown; maternal grandparents, Charles and Beverly Jennings of Ewing; aunts and uncles, Linda Marsh of Cream Ridge, Linda and John Bell of Silt, Co and Toni Coffman and her boyfriend, Ben Greenberg of Lawrenceville; cousins, Danalyn and Tim Byrne and their daughters, Carly Ryan and Kaci Rose, Lauren and Michael Housman and Alison Coffman as well as the Carnevali family and many other special friends.
Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday June 5th from 2-4pm and again 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. A scholarship fund will be established in Briana's name. Please contact the funeral home for more information.
