Beverly J. Souders, 87, of West Windsor, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Windsor, she was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Princeton High School. Beverly worked as a Royalty Manager at Princeton University Press for 29 years until retiring in 2000. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck and was a former member of the Session and a current member of the World Sewing Group. She was also a member of the West Windsor Historical Society, the Hamilton Grange #79, and the New Jersey State Grange. A lover of flowers, she enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. But, most of all she cherished her family and her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Raymond Dwayne and Helen Doris Taylor, she is predeceased by her brothers, Bruce and Bradford Taylor, and her sisters, Brenda Randall and Bertha Phillips. Beverly is survived by her husband of 69 years, James; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Beth and Walter B. McIntyre; her son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Mary Souders; her grandchildren, Amanda Petersen and W. Benjamin McIntyre, Emma, Hannah, Laura and Sarah Souders; her brothers, Barry Raymond Taylor and his wife, Deborah Hutchinson Taylor and Byron Moss Taylor and partner, Carol Thompson; her sister, Bonnie Joyce Smith; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy Taylor, Judy Walker, Claire Manger, Frederick Walter, Joan Buell, Mary Ice, Gladys Hyer, Grace Hedden, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday May 28th at First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, 154 S. Mill Rd., Princeton Junction. Friends may call from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Dutch Neck Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Beverly‘s name may be made to the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church, 154 S. Mill Rd., Princeton Junction, 08550.
Services are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
