Beverly Joan McCaffrey, 78, of Allentown, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton.  Born in Nanticoke, PA, she raised her family in Staten Island, NY, and moved to Allentown, NJ in 2002.  Beverly was a Registered Nurse and an avid gardener.  She was very creative and talented at arts and crafts and was an active person who enjoyed walking. Beverly was a member of St. John's Church in Allentown and its 50+ club.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daniel McCaffrey, Jr.; six children, Karen McCaffrey Feinberg and her husband Stuart, Christine McCaffrey, Daniel McCaffrey III and his wife Linda, Mary McCaffrey Manzo and her husband Mark, Francine Mazzei and her husband Bob and Michael McCaffrey and his wife Coleen; six grandchildren, Matthew, Erin, Sean, Michaela, Fiona and Gavin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Monday, July 11th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd., Allentown.  Interment will follow in The Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island, NY.  Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
