Betty J. Raiselis, 83, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. Born and raised in Burlington, she was a graduate of Burlington City High School and lived there until moving to Hedding, NJ 57 years ago. She retired from McGraw Hill Publishing in Hightstown and was a member of the Hedding United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed traveling, quilting and gardening.

Sister of the late Doris Brant and Williamina Vitrano, she is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, George J. Raiselis, her two daughters and sons-in-law: Joan and John Shimski of Hollywood, MD and Shirley and Bob Rogers of Blacksburg, VA, two brothers: Bill Adams and his wife Amelia of Burlington and Elmer Adams and his wife Rose of Beverly, two grandchildren: George and Alice Rogers as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 10 am Saturday, July 12 at the Hedding United Methodist Church, 2289 Old York Rd, Hedding, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hedding United Methodist Church, PO Box 25, Columbus, NJ 08022. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
