Betty Ann Leaver, 80, passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 at The Sterling House of Florence. Born in Trenton, she had lived in Bordentown all of her life until moving to Florence 3 ½ years ago. She had worked as a supervisor for the State of NJ, Division of Motor Vehicles for 35 years. Betty Ann was a lifelong member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for 32 years. She was a Camp Fire Girl Leader for many years and a member of the Womens Society and the Animal Humane Society.

Daughter of the late Andrew and Lillian Leaver, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Freda ""Ginger"" Leaver of Media, PA; 2 nephews, Jeremy A. Leaver of Bala Cynwyd, PA and Timothy S. Leaver and his wife Nicole of Andover, MA; 3 great nieces, Carey, Alyssa and Ellie and a great nephew, Tyler, as well as many close and caring friends.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Friday, June 24 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the (Humane Society of the US) HSUS, 2100 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20037.
