Betty H. Lanzillo, 79, of Robbinsville, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at her home. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. After graduation, Betty attended Jersey City Medical Center School of Radiology in 1961 and later went on to be an X-ray Technician for Bell Labs in Holmdel.  A longtime member of the Allentown United Methodist Church, Betty belonged to many groups including MASH , which stood for Mutual Aid Self Help,  where she made many friends and ultimately met her husband, Joe. Betty loved to travel, but her true passion was entertaining and being host to all her friends and family.  She never missed a High School reunion and was constantly out to lunch with one of her many friend groups including MASH, Bell Labs, and the Enchantment development.

Daughter of the late Pinckney and Leola Hampton, she was pre-deceased by her brother, Michael Hampton. Betty is survived by her husband, Joseph Lanzillo; her son and daughter-in-law William and Michael Leach; her grandchildren, Rhema Joy and Jonathan Michael; her brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Elaine Hampton; her sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Ernest Bates; her sister-in-law, Loretta Hampton and many other loving family and friends.

A memorial celebration will be held 11am Saturday, August 20th  at the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St, Allentown .  Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.  In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Allentown Methodist Church, 23 Church St., Allentown, NJ 08501.
