Sister Betty R. Walker-Jackson was born on May 6, 1951 to the late Hansel Walker Sr. and Mother Willie Mae Walker in New Brunswick, NJ. She attended the Northern Burlington School System, Burlington, NJ. She met and married Eugene Jackson Sr. and was married for 42 years and to this union was born (3) children, Eugene Jr., Florence, NJ, Paul, Burlington, NJ, Stacy Lynn, Florence, NJ and (10) Grandchildren. She was employed by the Burlington County Superior Court for 31 years, where she retired as a Superior Court Judiciary Clerk. She was also a Juvenile Mediator for the court and counseled the people in the community at all times. She was also an Acting Court Clerk. During her years of service to the court she was awarded numerous certificates and honors from Burlington County. She was very highly respected in the Court, Community and the Church. Sister Betty was Baptized in the name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost at Cliffwood Community Church. She served as Pastor McDonald's private secretary from 1988 to present and she was also a Senior Missionary. She leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 42 years, Eugene Sr., (2) sons, Eugene Jr., Paul, (1) daughter Stacey; her loving Mother, Mother Willie Mae Walker; (6) siblings, (2) Brothers, Hansel Jr. (Elizabeth), Robert (Paulette), (4) Sisters, Anne Laster (late husband John), Best friend and Sister Patricia Walker, Rosetta Walker, Renee Covington; (10) Grandchildren; (6) Godchildren; (3) Aunts, May Frances Woodard, FL, Shirley Watson, Neptune, NJ, Catherine Mackey, Morganville, NJ and (1) Uncle (late Deacon Clinton Mackey), (2) Sisters-in-law, Altomise Sims, Mt. Holly, NJ, Betty Hall, Palm Coast, FL, (1) brother-in-law, (late Leroy Gresham, FL and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at the Macedonia-Freehold Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 163 Throckmorton St., Freehold, NJ 07728. Interment will following in Allentown Methodist Cemetery, Allentown. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9am until the time of service at the church.
