Betty E. Clyde, 85, of Bordentown Township, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Marcella Center in Burlington. Born in Queens, NY, she resided in Bordentown for most of her life. Betty retired from Prudential Life Insurance Company where she worked for 35 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Betty was a loving and devoted grandmother and great grandmother, who loved to spend time with her family.
Daughter of the late Herman and Emma Knipschild, she was predeceased by her husband, William F. Clyde, Sr. and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Catherine and Daniel Russo. Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William F. and Bonnie Clyde and a grandson, Shawn Clyde all of Bordentown Twp.; a granddaughter, Danielle Roga and her husband Matthew of Bordentown City; three great grandchildren, Caitlin, Christian and Candace; a brother-in-law, Jack Clyde of Florence and a niece, Gerri Clyde of Roebling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated11am on Wednesday, August 29 th at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bordentown. Friends may call Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365. The family would like to thank the Marcella Center for the loving care Betty received during her time there.
