Bettie Crook (nee Archer) 90, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born and raised in Bordentown, she had been a resident there all of her life. She was a graduate of William MacFarland High School and was active with planning all of their class reunions. Bettie had worked at the E.R. Johnstone Training and Research Center, prior to its closing and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown for 78 years.
Daughter of the late Victor and Hannah Moo Archer and wife of the late Thomas E. Crook Jr. she is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Thomas III and Alisha Griffin Crook of Yardley, PA, two grandsons, Evan Crook Barrett and his wife Jacqueline of Los Angeles, CA and Adrian Crook and Evelyn Matus-Crook of Robbinsville, NJ, two great granddaughters, Simone Adyson Crook and Sophia Hannah Barrett as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, including Bruce and Evelyn Archer, of Bordentown, Jake, Dusty, Ruby Sea and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Monday, May 20 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Township. Friends may call Sunday evening 6 to 8 pm and again Monday morning 10 am until time of service at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to City Cats of Bordentown, 11 E. Church St. Bordentown, NJ 08505 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
