Obituary

Bette L. Lantier, 78, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 with her daughters at her side. Born in the family home in Englishtown, she resided in Monroe Township for several years before moving to Trenton. A graduate of Jamesburg Highschool, Bette worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant for Presbyterian Homes for many years, and recently retired from St. Francis Medical Center where she worked as a patient coordinator. Bette was a talented crocheter and would make beautiful afghans that she gave to her family, friends, and donated to cancer facilities. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her cottage garden, with the help of her daughter, Heidi, where she would also spend time feeding the birds and squirrels. Bette loved being with her family and she would spend special times with each of her grandchildren, taking them on spending sprees for their birthdays.

Daughter of the late Wilkes Gustav and Edith Dorothy Davis, she was predeceased by her brother, Gustav "Bill" Davis. Bette is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Heidi and Fernando Espinoza and Martha and Jeremy Hall; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hannah, Heather, Cooper, Jane, Douglas, and Julia; her sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Charles Budenbender; her sister-in-law, Doris Davis; several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Molly.

Services will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
