Bertha S. Nelson, 97, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Marcella Center in Burlington Township, NJ. Born in Bordentown, she was a resident of the area all of her life. She retired from the Division of Motor Vehicles, for the State of New Jersey. Bertha was a long time member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bordentown and enjoyed volunteering at the church. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening and travel.

Predeceased by her parents, Ellison and Alice Stout and her beloved husband Ernest H. Nelson, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David L. and Ann Ross of Columbus. Her daughter and son-in-law, Alice A. and George Kiovsky of Princeton, seven grandchildren: Douglas and Catherine Kiovsky, Kim and Anthony Gosselin, Dorothy Hitzeroth, Alice Ryan and her husband Michael and Cory and Terry Ross and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Friday, October 21 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Groveville Cemetery. Family and friends may call Friday morning from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
