Bernyce T. VanKirk, 92, formerly of Allentown, passed away Monday, August 10th at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born in Hightstown, she was a lifetime area resident. Mrs. VanKirk retired from the Allentown Public Library where she worked for many years as the librarian. She loved to swim and play bridge and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Wife of the late Percy VanKirk and sister of the late J. Coleman Totten; she is survived by her son, Richard VanKirk and his fiancée Eva Keer of Jackson; her granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and John Lemanski of Chesterfield and two great granddaughters, Ashleigh and Katharyn Lemanski.

A memorial service will be held Sunday 2pm at the Allentown Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allentown Public Library, PO Box 383, Allentown, NJ 08501. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
