Obituary

Barbara Ann Longo, born on October 04, 1949 was called to heaven on October 14, 2012. She passed away with her family by her side at her home in Tabernacle. Born in Trenton, she was raised in Hightstown and had lived in Willingboro before moving to Tabernacle 16 years ago. Barb was married to the love of her life, her high school sweet heart, Bruce Longo for 44 wonderful years.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Vivian Lamb Hopkins, she is survived by her beloved husband, Bruce Longo, and her loving children: Kellie Breslin and her husband Dan, Jennifer Mutchler and her husband Jon, Rebecca Laino and her husband Jason, and Tony Longo; her brother, Joseph Hopkins and his wife Annie, two sisters, Suzanne Fitzsimmons and her husband Joe, and Saundra Lafferty and her husband Jim. Seven amazing grandchildren: Nick, Joey, Gracie, Jon Thomas, Mia, Alexander and Cameron, her mother-in-law, Anna Longo and in laws: Ron Longo (Diana), David Longo (Cynthia), Maryann Longo, along with many nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Barbara was a kind, gentle, simple, compassionate woman; her family was her utmost priority, she adored Bruce, her girls, seven grandchildren, friends, and family. She was inspired by God's word and her strong faith showed in all that she did. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her has been inspired by her strength and courage. Quality times were cherished around the dinner table, which was easy with a superb chef like Barb. She found her peace and solace in her best friends Lisa, Laurel and fellow horse lovers who shared not only fond memories at Belleau Wood Stables in Medford with ""Smokey"" but also on their many trips to local wineries and beaches. She loved her horse and dog ""Doodle"" who had an uncanny look into her soul through out this journey. She was in awe of the countless gifts found in country living. She looked forward to her weekend trips with Bruce to view beautiful sunrises and sunsets, listen to good music, dancing the night away or just simply to enjoy a cup of coffee!  Nana will be deeply missed by all.
