Barbara Fennimore, 76, of Jacobstown, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Capital Health Systems, Hopewell. Born in Trenton, she resided most of her life in Jacobstown and Cream Ridge. As a real estate agent, Barbara owned Plumsted Realty in New Egypt for many years. She was a 50 year member of the Allentown United Methodist Church and was active in the church's Women's Club. Barbara was a founding member of the Tuckerton Seaport where she volunteered for many years. She was a longtime member of the Allentown Villagers and the president of the Ranch Hope Auxiliary for 40 years.
Daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Hollins, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank Hollins. Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clarence Fennimore; her two sons and daughter-in-law, Paul Fennimore and Jack and Susan Fennimore; her two grandsons, Adam and Luke Fennimore; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lynn Hollins; her sister, Dorothy Zentmayer (wife of the late William); her sister-in-law, Margie Hollins (wife of the late Frank) as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 7:30pm on Tuesday, February 17th at the Allentown United Methodist Church, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St., Allentown, NJ 08501. Arrangements under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
