Arthur M. Thorn, 82, of Pemberton, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Aspen Hills. Arthur was a lifetime Bordentown resident. A US Air Force Veteran, he was a member of the Vietnam Veterans United of Mercer County. Arthur was also a member of the American Legion Post 26 and the VFW Post 5045 both of Bordentown. He enjoyed going to the Bordentown Township and Bordentown City Senior Citizens, was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Hamilton Township and served on the reserve police in Florence Township.

Son of the late Mark and Grace Thorn, he was predeceased by his son, Gary A. Thorn; survived by his wife Shirley Thorn (Klein); two daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta Jean and Richard Neeld of Burlington and Cynthia L. and Vance of Broken Arrow, OK; three grandchildren, Richard, Christopher and Nicole; three great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held 12:30pm on Friday, July 12 ^th at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA  22312
