Arthur Buckalew, Jr. 87 of Dillwyn, VA passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the University of Virginia.  Born in Cassville, NJ, he was a longtime Cream Ridge area resident where he retired as a farmer, before moving to Dillwyn in 1990. Arthur was also a former member of the Clarksburg United Methodist Church.

Son of the late Arthur and Edith Buckalew, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Eleanor Buckalew.  Arthur is survived by three daughters, Barbara Southard and Diane Fornarotto and her husband Nick, all of Dillwyn, VA and Gayle Graves and her husband Rodney of Williamsburg, VA; 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Funeral service will be held 11am on Friday, November 2 ^nd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.  The Rev. Horace Frantz will officiate.  Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emley's Hill United Methodist Church, 38 North Main St., New Egypt, NJ 08533.
