Arlene M. Bibus, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home on Windswept Farm. Born in Bordentown Township, she had been a resident of Chesterfield all of her life. She had worked for the State of New Jersey DMV prior to becoming a farm wife. Arlene was a member of the Chesterfield Hose Company #262 Ladies Auxiliary, the Burlington County Farm Bureau Women's Committee and the Chesterfield Township Planning Board. She was an avid bowler and a member of St. Mary's Church of Bordentown.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Fowler and sister of the late Edward Fowler, she is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, David H. Bibus, her sister; Christine Fowler-Zelley and her husband Dave of Hamilton Township, her son; Bill Bibus and his wife Valarie of Chesterfield Township, her daughters; Maryann Horner and her husband Joseph of Middletown, PA and Suzanne Heller of New Egypt., Six grandchildren; Chris and Charlie Bartz, Joey and Gabrielle Bibus, Jared and Abigail Heller and great grandson; William Bartz.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 pm Saturday, May 12 at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm and again on Saturday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
