Antonio "Tony" Flores, Jr. 77 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025. Originally from the Bronx, Tony was a successful entrepreneur who operated his own business for over four decades.  He spent over 13 years working in maintenance for Knipper Healthcare, a job he loved and where he was known for his strong work ethic and easygoing nature.

A car enthusiast, Tony pursued this passion as a drag racer, a hobby that brought him both excitement and lifelong friendships. He frequently spent time at Atco and Englishtown Raceways and more recently enjoyed attending local car shows and cruising in his beloved "green machine".

Tony loved being with people and having fun and often traveled with his wife Diane. Together, they explored various destinations, including Puerto Rico, Canada, Las Vegas, and Florida.

Family was always the center of Tony's world. He was married to his wife, Diane Flores for 15 years. He was a proud father to three daughters and one son, Doreen Flores, Iris Flores, Martha Senatore and her husband Richard, and Anthony Golgano; and the stepfather to Glory Morales, Eric Morabito, and Justin Morabito. His legacy lives on through his 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great grandson. He had an incredible bond with them and the time they spent together brought him great joy. He also leaves behind his nephew, Christopher Flores; his cousin, who was like a sister to him, Luz "Lucy" Scheffler and her husband David and his closest friends, Freddy Prieto and Mike Smith.

Tony will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, love of racing, and the deep devotion he had to his family. His presence, kindness, and stories will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life for Tony will be held on Monday, April 21st from 4-6pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association .
