Obituary
Anthony Sullivan, 29, went from labor to reward on Wednesday January 3, 2018 in Lubbock Texas.
Anthony F. Sullivan III was born on April 7th, 1988 in Harlem, New York to Anthony Tony Sullivan and Barbara Ann Sullivan. He accepted Christ at an early age. He began his education in New York and graduated from Trimble Technical High School in Ft. Worth, Texas. He went on to attend Prairie View A&M University and Texas Tech University where he studied Sociology and Criminology. Anthony was a hard worker. Having started at Llano Logistics in 2010, he was readily climbing the ranks and had recently been promoted to Operations Supervisor. He was a model and well-respected employee.
Anthony was no stranger to life. He enjoyed staying in shape and partaking in stimulating activities such as going to the gym daily. Anthony played semi-pro football for the Bisons and several other teams. Anthony also ran in the Savage race. He loved to travel, some of the recent places he has been to include, Dubai, Jamaica and Mexico. Along with being a huge Mama's boy, Anthony was a big family man. He loved to spend time with his children and harass his sisters, Shana Sullivan and Monique Sullivan about not so funny YouTube videos he discovered.
Anthony was a simple, quiet guy with a big heart and a competitive temperament. There was nothing Anthony couldn't turn into a competition. And there was no meal too big for Anthony to handle. He especially loved his mother's Oxtails and Eggnog during the holidays.
On Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018, Anthony F. Sullivan III departed this world to be with the Lord. Those that will meet him at the heavenly gates to welcome him home will be; his father, Anthony Tony Sullivan II; grandparents, Annette Small and Harold Small and other family members.
Those left to celebrate Anthony's life include, mother, Barbara Sullivan; step-father, Bradley Young; sisters, Shana Sullivan and Monique Sullivan; nieces, Zarrin Sullivan and Zaniyah Sullivan; sons, Anthony Sullivan Jr., and Tairee Sullivan daughter, Tyra Davis; special friend, Shawnda Davis; grandmother, Marilyn Sullivan; great grandmother, Mary Spivey and a host of other relatives and friends.
