Obituary

Anthony M. Stanley, 83, formerly of Middletown, passed away in his sleep, February 28th , at the Masonic Home of NJ in Burlington Twp. Born in Newark; he graduated from Newark College of Engineering and worked as an electrical engineer for RCA and the government. He also owned and operated a Real Estate Office in Middletown and was known for waiving his commissions for family and friends. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Middletown and the Navesink Lodge # 009 F&A. Devoted to his grandchildren, he was a regular at football, baseball, track, wrestling and basketball events and took great pride in attending their college graduations. He will be remembered by his friends for his ready smile, quick wit and always ready for a prank or adventure. He will be missed by many who knew and loved him.

Husband of the late Alta Blitz Stanley, he is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Stanley of Oakhurst and nine grandchildren, Justin, Seth, Christopher and Lindsey Warner, BethAnn Ritter, Dianna George, Jimmy and David Speidel. A brother and sister, Russell Stanley and Frances Kuhn, both of Florida

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Friday, March 6th at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 9am until time of service. Masonic Services will begin at 10 am. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
