Obituary

Anthony D. Crucili Sr., 86, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side. Born and raised in Trenton, he had lived the last 51 years in Bordentown Township.
He was both a World War II and Korean War Veteran having served with the Army/Air Force and the Navy.He was a retired airplane mechanic and worked for McGuire Air Force Base for over 30 years as well as the National Auto Dealers Exchange, in Bordentown Towmship.

Anthony was a member of the Italian-American Sportsman Club and was an avid sportsman, playing bocce, quoits and bowling. He enjoyed his yearly hunting trips and was 80 years old when he got his last deer. He was a member and past usher of St. Mary's Church of Bordentown, belonged to its Senior Citizen group and was also a past president and treasurer of the Bordentown Township Senior Citizens. He was an avid card player and looked forward to trips to Atlantic City. His grandchildren was his passion and he rarely missed one of their events.

Son of the late Paolo and Elvira Crucili and brother of the late Sy Crucili, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean J. Crucili (nee Greatti) a son and daughter-in-law; Anthony D. Jr and Nancy Crucili of Hamilton Twsp. a daughter Nadine Tucker of Bordentown Twsp. a brother John P and Rose Crucili of Hamilton Twsp. and a sister Nancy Triolo of Goodwin, NC. 8 grandchildren; Dana Pintinalli and her husband Jason, Christian Crucili, Craig Sheehan and his wife Kim, Eric Sheehan, Tracy Machusak and her husband Chris, Jarred Tucker and his wife Melissa, Justin Tucker and Michael Tucker Jr and his wife Donna. 8 great grandchildren; Brielle, Jordan, Nathan, Kyle, Brendan, Jason, Savannah and Harrison.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 10:30am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown with Rev. Michael Burns celebrating. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Twp. Friends may call Thursday, 6 to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown and again Friday morning 9:30 to 10:00 am. Memorial Contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 601 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08629
