Anne C. Spair

Anne C. Spair, 88, was born on October 20, 1937 in Albany, NY and died on Sunday, April 12, 2026. After her birth, she later resided in Windsor, NJ where she met Herbert Spair of Robbinsville. They married on November 24, 1956 and began their family together, having two children, Catherine and David and two grandchildren.

Anne was a loving and devoted wife and mother. In addition to her child-raising responsibilities, Anne worked, first as a school bus driver for 11 years with Meadowview SDA Church School in Chesterfield and later, for seven years, with Rick Bus Company in Trenton. She drove for several schools in Trenton, including the Katzenbach School for the deaf. Anne learned to speak sign language so she could communicate with the students she drove. After retiring as a school bus driver, she was asked to be a secretary for the Seventh-Day Adventist Book and Bible House in Trenton where she worked for 25 years until the store’s closing in June of 2010.

Anne loved to sing and play the guitar with her musical family members. They would often visit nursing homes to sing for the residents as well as play special music for SDA church services. A woman of faith, Anne loved Jesus and always looked forward to His second coming to take her to the Heavenly Home.

Anne was predeceased by her adopted brother, Tom Alt. She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Herbert Spair; her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Bill Beans; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Giuliana Spair; her grandsons, who she adored, Benjamin and Joshua Spair. Anne is also survived by her sister living in New Mexico, Judy Rapping.

A viewing will be held Monday, April 20th from 10-12pm with a funeral service to begin at 12pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne’s name to the Robbinsville SDA Community Church, for the benefit of the Music Fund, 2314 NJ-33, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
