Obituary

Anne M. Pfieffer, 92, passed away peacefully at Sunrise of Jackson on January 25, 2019. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born in Trenton she was a resident of Ewing for most of her life before moving to Cream Ridge. A graduate of St. Hedwig's Elementary School and Trenton Central High School, Anne worked for the State of New Jersey, Department of Health for 30 years, retiring in 1986. A lifetime member of St. Hedwig's Church in Trenton, she was active with the Altar Rosary Society and PTA. Anne loved going on family vacations to Maine and the Jersey Shore. She was a very kind and caring person. Everyone who knew her loved her. She will be sorely missed. She enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Frances Pelczar, and her loving husband Joseph M. Pfieffer, who died in 1986. She was also predeceased by her five siblings, Mary, Florence, Frank, Walter and Stanley and son-in-law, David Kripplebauer. Anne is survived by her children, Debora Kripplebauer of Drums, PA, Joanne and Alan Linkchorst of Ewing, Maryanne and Michael McCue of Cream Ridge, Annette and Jeffrey Page of Jackson and Joseph M. II and Carol Pfieffer of Jackson. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren: Michelle Markert, Karin Kripplebauer (Steven), Sharon Grabowski (Stephen), Alyson Linkchorst (George), Jessica Pfieffer, Jeffrey Page, Jr., Megan McCue and Joseph Pfieffer, III and was great grandmother to Tyler Markert, Alan Shaub and James Yoos.   She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise of Jackson and Compassionate Care Hospice for the care that they provided their mother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Wednesday, January 30th at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Ave, Trenton. Interment will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, January 29 from 6-8 PM at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.   In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's name may be made to Project Loaves and Fishes, c/o St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
