Anne Kathleen Holcombe Lasater, 62, of Edwards Colorado, passed away at home on March 20, 2026. Born on November 9, 1963, in Princeton, New Jersey, Kathleen grew up in nearby West Windsor and graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro Highschool in 1981, where she played soccer and basketball and ran track. She attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a degree in Political Science. She lived in Hawaii, Durango, and Denver, Colorado before getting married and moving to Edwards, Colorado, where she resided for the rest of her life. She worked as a legal secretary for many years before staying home to raise her two daughters, Nicole and Stephanie Lasater.
Kathleen was an avid runner and skier and enjoyed relaxing at home with a cup of coffee and a good TV show. What she loved most was being a mother. In their younger years, she made sure to take her daughters to the library, the video store, the park, skiing, and hiking. She was deeply involved with their extracurriculars and was a frequent attendee of soccer games, track meets, and school plays. She will be remembered for her uncompromising spirit, her wit, and her love and support for those close to her.
Daughter of the late Frances (Lyons) and Edward Holcombe, Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Nicole Lasater of Denver, Colorado and Stephanie Lasater of Bellingham, Washington; siblings Daniel Holcombe of Hightstown, New Jersey, Mark Holcombe of St. Louis, Missouri, William Keith Holcombe of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, Michael Holcombe of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, Richard Holcombe of Key Largo, Florida, Christopher Holcombe and Mary Fran Holcombe, both of Princeton Junction, New Jersey, and her twin brother Edward Craig Holcombe of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, as well as multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am–12pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Allentown.
