Obituary

Anna Vanisko, 96, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home. Born in Pittsburgh, she was a lifetime Hamilton area resident. Anna retired as a Supervisor of Quality Control from Switlik Parachute in Trenton. A member of St. Mary of the Assumption in Trenton, she was very active with the Trenton Catholic PTA where her children went to school. Anna was a gifted baker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Daughter of the late John and Suzanna Bavol, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Vanisko and her son, Thomas Vanisko. Anna is survived by her children, Raymond and Irene Vanisko of Columbus and Patricia and Jack Hatala of Allentown; her daughter-in-law, Joanne Vanisko of Hamilton; her sisters, Sister Stephanie Bavol and Sister Theresa Bavol, both of Uniontown, PA, as well as eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, July 1st at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd. Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call 9 to 10:30AM at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna's name to The Sisters of St. Basil, Mt. St. Macrina, 500 West Main St., Uniontown, PA 15401 or Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300,Marlton, NJ 08053.
