Anna May Messina, 72, of Hamilton Twp. passed away Saturday at her granddaughter's home. Born in Trenton, Anna was devoted to her family and raising her children, whom she loved very much. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to Atlantic City.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Franks and wife of the late Joseph F. Messina, she is survived by six daughters and four sons-in-laws, Debra and Gordon Gregory, Dora and Eric Hannawacker, Darlene and Robert Mundras, Mary Callahan and her fiancé Tim Elmer, Margaret and John Straccio, JoAnn and Gregory Embley; two sons, Carmen Messina and Joseph Messina and his fiancé MaryLu Zelenock; ten grandchildren, Anna Marie Politakis, Megan and Kaitlyn Messina, Kristen and Kelly Callahan, Nickole, Amanda and Samantha Straccio, and Jessica and Robert Carlton; two great grandchildren, Ashley Politakis and Kirk Brindley. A special future grandson-in-law, Kirk Brindley, Jr., two sisters, Ellen North and Shirley Erbe; a brother-in-law, John Tammello and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 9AM at the First Baptist Church in Allentown. The Rev. Robert Mundras will officiate. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Tuesday 6-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
