Anna D. Meshechek, 96, of Mooresville, NC, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Maple Leaf Healthcare in Statesville, NC. Born and raised in New Sharon, Anna resided there for most of her life, prior to moving to Mooresville, NC to live near her daughter Terry. A graduate of Ryder College, Anna worked as a Principal Accounting Clerk for Donnelly Hospital in Trenton. While living in NJ, she was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the Mercer County 4-H clubs.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Szynal Dyjak and wife of the late Henry Meshechek, she was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Adamec, Kathryn Szczepanik and a brother, Adam Dyjak. Anna is survived by her children, Gary Mesh of Titusville NJ, Marie Haymond of Palm Bay, FL and Theresa Lohrmann of Mooresville NC, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am on Friday, December 20th at St. John the Baptist Church in Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call 9:30-10:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Altar Rosary Society of St John the Baptist Church, 1282 Yardville Road, Allentown, NJ 08501.
