Obituary

Anna E. Clark, 89, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Samaritan Hospice with her family by her side. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, she lived for 30 years in Rutherford, NJ prior to moving to Columbus 12 years ago. She retired from Colgate-Palmolive after 27 years and was a member of the Wesley United Methodist of Columbus. Ann was very active with the Order of Eastern Star and was a member of the Beverly Maqueda Chapter 276, Rutherford Chapter 24 and Laurel Springs Chapter 227. She was a Past Matron 5 times, a past District Deputy, Past Grand Representative of Washington and a member of the Daughters of the Shrine. She enjoyed volunteering at the Masonic Home in Burlington and had accumulated 7,500 hours

Daughter of the late Walter and Anna Loehwing, she is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Chester H. Clark; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Dorothea Clark of Sicklerville, NJ, Douglas and Laura Clark of Lake Ariel, PA and Daniel and Lynne Clark of Lorton, VA.; 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Stefanie, Douglas, Walter and Alexander; nine great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild and her cousin, Doris Hazard of Virginia.

Funeral Services will be 10 am Saturday, April 13 at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington. Interment will follow in Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ and again Friday morning 9 am until time of service at the Masonic Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Order of the Eastern Star; 111 Finderne Ave, Bridgewater, NJ 08807-3100
