Anna Briggs, 94, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Brooklyn, NY; she resided in Allentown, where she and her husband farmed for many years. Mrs. Briggs was a member of St. John's Church and St. John's Altar Rosary Society. She loved to fish and enjoyed crafts.

Daughter of the late Daniel and Julia Hamay and pre-deceased by her sister Sr. Olga Hamay, DC; she is survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank Briggs; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Raymond Roods of Brooksville, FL; her sister, Mary Snyder of Allentown and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:30am at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in St. Mary's of Byzantine Cemetery, Hamilton.
