Obituary

Anna Adams 96 of Bordentown, formerly of Trenton and Orlando, FL passed away peacefully on March 20, 2015. Anna was born in Woonsocket, RI and was married to her late husband, Robert, for 65 years until he passed in 2005. She began life in NJ as a waitress at the Walker Gordon Gate House. Later she was a Girl Scout leader, a St. Francis Hospital volunteer, active in the PTA and also active in many social organizations after retirement to Florida.


She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved making a happy home and preparing meals for her family. She will be remembered for her excellent pies, cakes and cookies. She adored caring for and spending time with her 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. They have fond memories of vacations with her in Chincoteague VA and Orlando FL. She was a firecracker at family gatherings and will be greatly missed by her family.


Anna was predeceased by her husband Robert and her parents, Joseph and Katherine Wyspianski; one brother, Joseph Wyspianski, Jr. and her son-in-law Joseph F. Shestko, Jr. Surviving are two daughters, Roberta Shestko and Margaret Adams Trevors and her husband Walter; two sisters, Josephine Strycharz of Tucson AZ and Antionette Almeida of Woonsocket RI.; sister-in-law Maryellen Wills of Plainsboro NJ; six grandchildren, Robin Kinsley and husband Patrick, Daniel Tote, Sharon Gollwitzer and husband Rick of SC, Donna Tote Marchionni and husband Gregory of MA, Deborah Donahue and husband Jim of PA and Terri Lapidus and husband Zev; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, Crosswicks St., Bordentown NJ. Interment will follow in the Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call from 9:00am to 10:30am Wednesday morning at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of NJ, 1 AAA Drive suite 203, Trenton, NJ 08691.
