Ann Fields, 96, of Hammonton, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Innova Health Care. Born in Hightstown, she was a longtime Allentown area resident prior to moving to the Hammonton area 30 years ago. Ann worked at many places over her life, including as a sewing machine operator for various furniture factories. She was a former member of the Allentown Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Hightstown Czechoslovakian Club.

Daughter of the late Steven and Susan Shuren, she was predeceased by her husband J. Russell "Tom" Fields; her son Richard Fields; her grandson, Ricky Fields and three brothers, Steve, Samuel and John Shuren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and George Hyatt of Williamstown; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Joyce Fields of Whiting; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephew.

Funeral service will be held 11 am on Tuesday, December 3rd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Pastor Fran Ballinger will officiate. Interment will follow in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
