Angelo S. Lumia (aka Sonny), 87, of Yardville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 with his family by his side. Born and raised in New York City, NY he resided in Hamilton Township the majority of his life. Angelo proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War in Okinawa. He worked for U.S. Steel in Fairless Hills, PA for over 30 years. During his retirement he worked for Manheim New Jersey in Bordentown Township.

Angelo was a member of the VFW Post # 491 of Yardville and the Central Jersey Antique Car Club where he enjoyed displaying his antique 1960 Pontiac Bonneville. He was an avid dog lover and had a fantastic sense of humor. Angelo enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Son of the late Joseph and Rose (Mastrosimone) Lumia. Angelo is survived by his beloved wife of over 38 years, Kathleen (Forman) Lumia of Yardville. He also leaves behind his children Joseph Lumia (Kathy) of Dallas, GA, Carol Florio (Anthony) of New Egypt, NJ, Rose Runyon (John) of Allentown, NJ, Phyllis Farrah  (Alexander) of Hamilton Township, NJ and step-daughter, Karen Morgan of New York City; a sister, RoseAnna Romanello (Angelo) of Ewing, NJ; Seven grandchildren: Michael Dobo, Lindsey Hacker (Kenneth), Timothy Florio, Christopher Rasmussen, Nicole Bonura (Justin), Amy Nae (Doran), Angela Episcopo, Samantha Gagliardi and David Farrah (Leanne). Ten great grandchildren: Grayson, Kylie, Jordan, Lorenzo, Gabriel, Mikaela, Nicholas, Tyler, Elizabeth and Avery, two nieces and their family.

Funeral Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, September 29 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig, General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
