Angelina P. Petito (nee Nucaso), 89, of Mercerville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Masonic Home of NJ, in Burlington Township. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident until moving to the home 3 years ago. Angelina retired from the Mercer County Senior Citizens as a Nutrition Site Manager and had worked for Eastern Aircraft, in Ewing Twp. during WWII. She was also a member of the Bordentown Chapter #257 O.E.S. Angelina's family was very important to her and she will be deeply missed.
Daughter of the late, Vincenzo and Paolina Nucaso (nee Agnello), wife of 64 years to the late Thomas J. Petito and sister to the late Paul Nucaso, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ferdinand and Elaine Petito of Alexandria, VA, a daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Richard Pepper of Hamilton, NJ and a son, Thomas Petito of Freehold, NJ. Six grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, three brothers and a sister, Alfonse, Sam and Joseph Nucaso and Faye DeRezze.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11 am, March 23, at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Monday afternoon 2 to 4 pm at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington and again Monday evening 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. OES services will be at 7 pm.
