Andree D. Sweek, 86 of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at her home.  Born in Milwaukee, WI she resided in West Palm Beach, FL for most of her life before moving to Allentown five years ago.  She retired in 2000 as the head of Medical Records from JF Kennedy Medical Center in Lantana, FL after many years of service.  Andree was full of life and could always light up a room.  She was spunky and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She was an avid gardener, enjoyed television and movies and loved to sing in the choir.

Predeceased by her husband Ernest F. Sweek and her brother, George Cerwin, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisette and Oliver Herz, DVM of Allentown; her granddaughter Chrissy Cowan and her husband Philip of Staten Island; her great grandchildren, Danielle and Joseph Cowan and Jay Mazzola and her cats, Frosty and Cindy.

Funeral Service will be held 10 am on Saturday, July 30 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.  Friends may call Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Forgotten Cats 2537 Wyandott Rd.
