Alice Conine Richardson, 85, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, January 3rd at Holiday Care Center, Toms River. Born in Hornerstown, she was a resident of the area for many years before moving to Whiting 5 years ago. A graduate of Pemberton High School, Mrs. Richardson retired from New Jersey Bell in 1984. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Arnold L. Conine, of Allentown and her son Thomas Wesley Herbert; she is survived by her husband, John Richardson; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and William Spader of Plano TX; daughter-in-law, Naomi Herbert of Mobile, Ala; six grandchildren, Brent Arnold Spader of Denver, CO, Kerri Renee Spader of Plano, TX, Todd Arnold Herbert of Virginia Beach, VA, Thomas Wesley Herbert, Jr. of Chatom, Ala, Rodney Wayne Herbert of Gulf Shores, Ala and Christopher Walter Herbert of Guntersville, Ala; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, including Helen Walton of New Egypt.

Funeral service will be held Monday 12pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ. Pastor Robert Swift will officiate. Interment will follow in Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 11am until the time of service.
