Alice J. (Lester) Palmieri , passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 1, 2022.  Alice was born on November 6, 1940, in Trenton, NJ, and lived most of her life in Hamilton before moving to Bordentown Township.  Alice was a graduate of Cathedral High School.  After high school she completed a dental assistant program and was employed by Bordentown Family Dental for 30 years.

Alice was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana, who was kind and generous with a great sense of humor. She was the matriarch and the heart of our family, everything she did she did with selfless love. She enjoyed yearly family vacations and gatherings, traveling with her husband, trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casinos, dancing and attending concerts.  Her greatest joy was being called "Nana" and spoiling her grandchildren all year long and especially at Christmas.  "Nana" was "hands on" in helping to raise her grandchildren and never missed their sporting events and activities.  She will be deeply missed but will remain in our hearts forever.

Predeceased by her parents, Allen and Jessie (Moore) Lester, Alice is survived by the love of her life, soulmate and devoted husband of 61 years who cared for her at home during her illness, Ronald J. Palmieri, her loving daughters, Denise Buzgo and husband Patrick of Bordentown, NJ; Beth Ann Palmieri and Doug Blanchard of West Palm Beach, FL; three grandchildren; Garrett Buzgo, Sabrie Buzgo and Derek Schmidt; special niece, Diane Fialka; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30pm on Friday, December 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, 210 Crosswicks Rd., Bordentown. Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2022 from 9:30am to 12:00pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. ( www.pepplerfuneralhomes.com )
