Alice B. Nelson, 86 of Hightstown, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Alice was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; stepmother, Etta; brothers, Jack, Robert, and Walter Jr.; sisters, Margie, Ernestine, and LaSundria; husband, Diree; and grandson, Gregory.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruby, Marie and her husband, Dennis, Carolyn and her husband, Lionel, Alice and her husband, William; her brother, Carver and his wife, Holly; her daughter, Helen and her partner, Carol; and her grandchildren, Vince and his husband, Danny, Brian, Toni, Shellie, and Jessica. She is also survived by the beloved mother of her great-grandchildren, Shawna; her God-daughter, Shelley and her son, Torrey, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A private viewing for family begins at 10:00am at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple, 203 Hutchinson Rd., Trenton, NJ. An open visitation will be held from 10:30am-11:00am with a service beginning at 11:00am on Saturday, Nov. 25. At approximately 12:50pm, all are welcome to follow the family to Cedar Hill Cemetery for internment, and a repass meal will begin around 2:30pm back at Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple.
