Alice C. Baum, 81, of Columbus, passed away peacefully and on her own terms Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton. Born and raised in Trenton, she was a graduate of Trenton High school Class of 1953 and worked in the banking industry for many years, retiring from First Washington Bank in West Windsor. She was a member and Vice President of the Chesterfield PTA, the Northern Burlington Parents Sports Council, and the Wesley United Methodist Church of Columbus.
She is survived by her adoring husband of over 60 years, Arthur S. Baum Jr., her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and JR Walsh of Chesterfield, the light of her life granddaughter, Alex Walsh, her "Little Sister", Jean Murphy and her husband Jack of Midland, MI., nephews, Carl and John Muhs. In addition to the above mentioned Alice had the joy of watching her beautiful "girls" Kathy Stizza and Kelly Paul grow and expand their families giving an her amazing extended family. Finally Alice leaves behind her dear friends, Betty and Joe Kucowski and Patricia Lyons.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Thursday, August 18 at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 24573 E, Main St, Columbus, NJ. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9 am until time of service at the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alice's name to the Wesley United Methodist Church, PO BOX 25, Columbus, NJ 08022.
